Scouted member, DIGS, located in Hyde Park, is “more than meets the eye.” While you may see their signs in yards across Cincinnati, you might not know what all they do! So we (virtually) “sat down” with Owner, Jaime Masters, to talk with him about his purchase of the company, his vision and team.

Jaime Masters is a life-long Cincinnatian, and he acquired DIGS™|Design|Construction|Real Estate| in late 2019. Jaime built his career in the construction and real estate industries. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Civil Engineering, and also holds graduate degrees from both Northwestern (MPM) and Xavier University (MBA). He is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Ohio and is LEED Certified. Jaime serves on the Summit Country Day School Alumni Board and lives with his wife Alison and their three daughters (the newest family addition little lady joined just a few weeks ago!), in a Hyde Park home completely renovated by DIGS.

When I asked Jaime what his vision was for the company, he said “To help people find or create their perfect home and design spaces they love to live in.”

Jaime has built quite a team of talent across multiple facets to help clients achieve these goals of creating their perfect home. DIGS is comprised of Jaime – President and Owner, Alissa Groth – VP of Finance, Annette Askam – VP of Design and Construction, Kara Pelicano – Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator, Frank Haas – Director of Construction, Owen Willis – Construction Supervisor, Interior Designers Christine Kommer, Brian Gibson, and John Harrison. 

McKenna: “What are your favorite types of projects to work on?” 

Jaime: “Our favorite types of projects are the ones our clients have their hearts and souls in. We love to have clients fall in love with their home at the completion of a project.”

McKenna: “What do you want potential clients to know when they call you? 

Jaime: “We want potential clients to know that we work with them to bring their vision to life every step of the way – from concept to completion.”
